After a 23 year hiatus, seminal band The Police have reunited, much to the delight of fans all over the world. Over the years of their past career, which spanned a decade, they evolved through pop, rock, reggae, ska and new wave, creating an eclectic sound and propelling them to be one of the most popular bands in the world in the early 1980s. They went their separate ways and front-man Sting went on to have a hugely successful solo career.
The three piece band reformed to play at the 2007 Grammy Awards, and subsequently announced a reunion tour, including sold out arena shows and appearances at huge events such as the Live Earth Concert.
