André Rieu is a Dutch violinist and conductor famous for creating an international revival in waltz music and for his top selling records with the "Johann Strauss Orchestra."
Rieu put together the "Johann Strauss Orchestra" in 1987 and now performs with over 40 musicians throughout Europe, North America and Japan. Together they have won a number of awards including two World Music Awards and many of their recordings have gone gold and platinum around the world.
