Founded in 1919 and now in residence at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Los Angeles Philharmonic is regarded as the leading performing arts institution of Southern California and one of the best in the United States.
Led by music director Esa-Pekka Lalonen since 2002, the Los Angles Philharmonic is known for its brilliant performances, innovative programming and fine guest artists from the classical, jazz and world music arenas. In the summer, it plays outdoor concerts at the Hollywood bowl.
