Martina McBride is Grammy Award Winner, four time Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year and three time Academy of Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year. Originally infusing her music with a honky-tonk feel, Martina soon turned to a more pop style on second album The Way That I Am, releasing the single 'My Baby Loves Me' that rocketed her to stardom. She released as anti-domestic violence single, 'Independence Day', from the same album.
Her most recent release is a collection of classic favourite country songs which has been met with much critical acclaim for its authentic tribute to the history of country music. It went straight to number 1 on the Billboard chart.
