Air Supply, who found fame with hits like "Lost in Love", is a soft rock duo hailing from Australia, who met on a production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
It wasn't long after this that Air Supply were opening for Rod Stewart, and thereafter they were quickly signed by Clive Davis to Arista Records. At the time of the release of "Lost in Love", it became the fastest selling single in the world, and was named Song of the Year.
Air Supply quickly garnered a huge fan base and had a string of 7 consecutive top five hits, which equalled the Beatles run of the same number. Their albums Lost in Love, The One That You Love, Now and Forever and The Greatest Hits sold over 20 million copies.
In 2005 Air Supply released a DVD entitled "It was 30 Years Ago Today" which celebrated 30 decades of their success.
