George Clinton is to tour soon with Parliament/Funkadelic, it has been announced, on a trek that will see them touring a number of cities right through the summer and into October.
The Prime Minister of Funk will kick off the tour July 26, at the Oregon Garden in Silverton, after a warm up gig at the Cisco Systems Ottawa Bluefest in Ontario, July 10.
Clinton, mastermind of the bands Parliament and Funkadelic, has enjoyed much success and popularity since he entered the music business in the 1970s, both as a solo artist and with his bands.
