Madonna has announced that she will be hitting the road again in 2008 for yet another world tour.
"Madonna at 50,” as the title of the tour is rumoured to be, is due to kick off sometime next year and is thought to be accompanying a new album currently being worked on.
The so-called Queen of Pop, who has had 11 multi-platinum albums and sold more than 200 million records worldwide, is famed for her glittering and risqué concerts and has a huge fan base across the globe.
Her most recent tour was in 2006 and followed on from her Confessions On A Dance Floor album which sold an impressive eight million copies. The album also won the Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album in 2007.
