Alternative pop-rockers Maroon 5 will be heading out on a worldwide tour later this year, playing arenas in the US, UK, France, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.
Maroon 5 have found massive popularity by crossing genres and including inflections of jazz, blues, rock and pop in their music. They will be supported on their US dates by The Hives, Phantom Planet, and Kevin Michael.
The North American part of the tour kicks off September 29, in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and will come to an end in Las Vegas on November 10. They will then head to Europe where they will partake in a tour of at least nine countries. They warmed up for their tour by opening for The Police at Miami's Dolphin Stadium on July 10.
Maroon 5 are currently touring in support of their latest album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long. They have also jumped on the climate change bandwagon and are trying to make their massive tour carbon neutral.
