Prince announced on Thursday evening that he will perform a late night show at Minneapolis' First Avenue this Saturday (July 7).
The venue in Princes’ hometown was made famous in 1984 when scenes from his film, 'Purple Rain', were shot at the club.
It will be the first time that Prince has played at the club for 20 years; the last time he played was to promote his double-LP Sign O' The Times.
The First Avenue gig will follow a performance scheduled earlier in the day at the Target Centre to launch his new fragrance, 3121.
Doors will open immediately following the Target Center concert.The show is limited to 18 year olds and over, and tickets will be on sale on Saturday at 3:00pm at First Avenue, priced $31.21.
