In the midst of the world-famous Toronto Film Festival, it has been announced that director and CEO of the Toronto International Film Festival Group, Piers Handling, and president of The Variety Group and publisher of Variety, Charlie Koones, are to deliver keynote speeches at the 4th Annual International Film Festival Summit (IFFS).
The three-day summit will take place from December 2-4 at the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort in Las Vegas.
Mr Handling will use his 25 years experience in the film festival industry to provide insight on the current state of the film festival industry as well as highlighting new opportunities and challenges within the sector.
Mr Koones will cover the importance of festivals in the entertainment ecosystem.
The ten-day Toronto Film Festival, which is now well underway, is set to attract stars such as Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Jodi Foster.
