When asked whether he was surprised that the England rugby team had made it to the final, head coach Brian Ashton confessed he had had his doubts.

However, he is now convinced his now-confident team could go all the way to win the Rugby World Cup final on October 20.

But first the team must take on a solid South African team, to whom England lost 36-0 last month.

South Africa pulled off a comfortable 37-13 win over Argentina on October 14, although the South American team exceeded many pundits’ expectations during the tournament.

Meanwhile, England beat home-nation France in a nail-biting game which ended 14-9.

With les bleus out of the competition, the finalists will fight tooth and nail to lift the trophy on Saturday.
