The NBA is to host a record 262 international events in 162 cities across the globe during the offseason, breaking last year’s record of 135 events in 87 cities.
The schedule comprises events for fans such as the third annual China Jam Van, the DHL trophy tour (China and the Asia Pacific region) and NBA Madness, involving Jerry Stackhouse, TJ Ford, Donyell Marshall, Marvin Williams, Jorge Garbajosa, Allan Houston and John Starks.
Camps and coaching events include Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA (China, the Philippines and Japan), NBA Korea Development Camp, NBA China Games 2007 and NBA Europe Live.
Basketball tournaments will consist of the Motorola NBA 2 V. 2 Basketball Challenge (China), NBA 3-on-3 (Canada), Basketball Without Borders (China, Latin America, Europe and Africa), 2007 NBA Fit Camps (China) and the NBA Cares Tour (Canada).
More than 200 players, legends and coaches will participate.
