Tim Duncan and Tony Parker led the San Antonio Spurs into the 2007 NBA Final series beating Utah Jazz 109-84 to take the Western Conference title 4-1.

The Spurs are through no matter who comes out of the East – currently the Detroit Pistons and the Cleveland Cavaliers are tied 2-2 in the series; game five is due to take place today in Detroit.

San Antonio won fairly easily last night, taking a 23-point lead early on in the second quarter. The Spurs have been dominating the league every other year since Duncan arrived ten years ago for the 1997-98 season.

They took the NBA title in 1999, 2003 and 2005, and came close in 2001, narrowly losing the conference to the eventual champs, the LA Lakers.

"It’s great, it's about the journey," Duncan told www.casperstartribune.net, "last year we had a tough finish, this year to come back, put the team together and to go through three really, really good teams to get here, it's tremendous."

The Spurs now have a nine day break before the finals series begins in San Antonio.
