Nearly 100 people were in line Monday morning for tickets to see Jersey Boys during its stint at ASU Gammage (Arizona State University’s auditorium), which is coming up in September.
Tickets went on sale at 10am, and the avid ticket-seekers withstood high temperatures and humidity to make sure they got a chance to see the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, which chronicles the life of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
One musical fan who got there early was 63 year old Steve Fishman, of Sun Lakes, who said his reason for wanting to go so badly was: “It’s my generation.”
Another was Carol Harper, 52, who was unable to get tickets for the Broadway production, and said she wasn’t to see Jersey Boys because she grew up with many of the songs.
