The new Geffen Playhouse season will feature such stars as Annette Bening, Christine Lahti and Laurie Metcalf.
In addition to the previously announced season opener, Wendy Wasserstein’s Third, the new season will include two world-premiere plays (Quality of Life by Jane Anderson and The Elephant in the Room by Donald Marguiles) a new musical (Atlanta, by Marcus Hummon and actor-director Adrian Pasdar) and an American premiere (The Female of The Species by Joanna Murray-Smith).
The Best Has Yet to Come was originally scheduled by has been postponed and replaced with Atlanta. Suzan-Lori Park’s 365 Days/365 Plays, and Emergence-See! by Daniel Beaty round out the line-up.
