The Arizona Diamondbacks were established in 1998 as an expansion team, and have played out of Chase Field for every year since. Previously called the Bank One Ballpark, the stadium can host crowds of more than 47,000 fans.
The Diamondbacks were the first professional baseball team in Arizona, and have gone on to win both the World Series and the NL Pennant. The team have also won the Western Division title three times as of 2006, in the years 1999, 2001 and 2002.
The Arizona Diamondbacks have four main rivals; the Colorado Rockies, San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
