Established in 1901, the Baltimore Orioles also go by the nicknames of "the O’s" or "the Birds". The team play in the Eastern Division of the American League, and moved to Baltimore in the year of 1954.
The Orioles home stadium, the Camden Yards, has seating capacity for more than 47,000 spectators, and has been inhabited by the Orioles since 1992. The team’s previous home was the Memorial Stadium in Baltimore.
The Baltimore Orioles are considered one of the most successful Major League Baseball teams from the 1960s to the 1980s, and have continued to build their reputation in recent years. Their trophy tally includes three World Series, seven American League Pennants and over seven East Division titles.
