The Minnesota Twins play out of the H. Humphrey Metrodome, with a home seating capacity of more than 39,000 fans. Past stadiums include the Metropolitan Stadium in Minnesota, and the American League Park and Griffith Stadium in Washington.
Established in 1901, the Twins were known as the Washington Senators before their move to Minnesota in 1961. Their history has seen them win three World Series titles, six American League pennants and seven division titles as of 2006.
Recent successes include three straight division championships under manager Ron Gardenhire, with the third win achieved in 2004.
