First established in 1969, the Washington Nationals moved to the city from Montreal in 2005, where they were previously known as the Montreal Expos. Their home field is the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, one of the oldest in the nation.
A new stadium is set to be completed for the Washington Nationals in 2008, with some of the star players of the Washington Nationals’ past including Rusty Staub, Bill Stoneman, Carl Morton, Tim Raines and Feline Alou.
