The Harrisburg Senators are a Double-A, minor league baseball team in the Eastern League and an affiliate of the Washington Nationals. They play their home games at the Commerce Bank Park on City Island in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which originally opened as Riverside Stadium in 1987, and seats 6,360 fans.
The Senators took their name from their host city being the state capital, and therefore the home of Pennsylvanias legislature. The Harrisburg Senators have won nine Eastern League titles and are the first team in history to win four titles in a row. They have also won two division titles.
