The New Hampshire Wildcats compete in intercollegiate basketball as part of the America East Conference of NCAA Division I. The Wildcats play in the colors of blue and white, with annual mascot try-outs to select a suitable candidate to don the "Wild E. Cat" costume.
The New Hampshire Wildcats are based out of the Lundholm Gym in Durham. The gym has a seating capacity of 3,500, and is frequently packed by students, alumni and those from the local community during home games.
