The San Diego State Aztecs play in a uniform of scarlet and black for home games, and are based out of the Cox Arena in San Diego, California. The arena has a number of excellent facilities, including seating for over 11,500 fans.
The San Diego Aztecs had more than six bids to the NCAA Tournament, with a recent appearance in the 2006 season. The Aztecs have also proved to be formidable competition in the Mountain West Conference, with the same 2006 season seeing them win the double of both regular season and conference tournament championships.
