The Clippers were first established in 1970 as an expansion team, and during their playing history have reached more than six play-offs and three Conference semi-finals. One of these came in the 2005-06 season, their first playoff since the 1996-97 season and their first Conference semi-final in recent times.
Currently based out of the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, the Clippers are able to enjoy facilities including seating for p to 19,000 fans, executive seating, premium suits and dining. The Clippers share the arena with the Los Angeles Lakers, one of the only pair of franchises to share a city in the NBA.
The Clippers’ distinguished history has seen five former members promoted to the Basketball Hall of Fame, although the Clippers have not retired any numbers as of yet. Playing in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference, the Clippers and their fans are confident of many future successes to come.
