Miami Heat have won one Championship and five Division titles in their history. Established an expansion team in 1987, the Heat have gradually built up their determination and play to culminate in their recent Championship win in the 2005-06 season. The Heat play in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference, and are located in Miami, Florida.
Miami Heat have moved arenas only once in their history, changing from the Miami Arena to the new AmericanAirlines Arena in 1999. In their new arena, the Heat enjoy facilities including seating for up to 20,000 fans, dining and premium suites. It was also one of the venues for their 2005-06 Championship title.
Due to their relatively young age, Miami Heat have yet to see any players or coaches promoted to the Basketball Hall of Fame. If they continue their past successes, however, many such appointments may be on the cards for future years.
