The Milwaukee Bucks were first established in 1968 as an expansion team, but quickly went on to win their first Championship in 1971. Since that time they have won one Conference Title and twelve Division titles, with a run of six straight Division titles from 1980 through to 1985. The Milwaukee Bucks are proud of their long and distinguished history of success, supported by a management that is both stable and consistent.
The Milwaukee Bucks have never moved cities or states, remaining true to the roots planted in 1968. The Bucks only move has been between stadiums, when they moved from the U.S. Cellular Arena to the Bradley Center in 1988. The change brought them improved facilities, with seating for up to 18,717 fans and facilities including dining, suites and premium seating.
The Bucks success has brought them many plaudits, with eight former players, contributors and coaches admitted to the Basketball Hall of Fame. They have also retired seven numbers in commemoration of former members. With a strong team and good management, the Milwaukee Bucks continue to be a strong contender in the future seasons of the NBA.
