The Orlando Magic were established as an expansion franchise in 1989, and have gone on to win one Conference and one Division title in the 1990s. The Orlando Magic play in the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference, and have remained in their original arena throughout their lifetime. With their arena now renamed to the TD Waterhouse Centre, the Magic are able to enjoy facilities including seating for up to 17,300 fans, dining and premium suites.
Fans have been able to watch the Orlando Magic reach eight playoffs in the seasons up to 2005/06. Despite their young franchise age, the Magic have three former members in the Basketball Hall of Fame. They have also retired one number in honour of their fans; number six for "The Sixth Man - The Fans".
