The Utah Jazz are based out of Salt Lake City and play in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. Established in 1974, the Utah Jazz have gone on to win two Conference Titles and seven Division titles during their history. In 1997 and 1998 they also challenged for the NBA Championship and were considered one of the dominant teams of the time. As part of this, the Utah Jazz have reached the play-offs over nineteen times in their relatively short NBA history.
Originally based out of New Orleans, the Jazz moved to Salt Lake City in 1979 and have remained there to this day. They current play out of the Delta Center, where they take advantage of facilities that include seating for up to 20,000 fans, dining and premium suites. The Jazz have won all of their Conference and Division titles following their move to Utah.
The Jazz’s history of success has seen two of their former players admitted to the Basketball Hall of Fame, with seven retired numbers to commemorate past contributors. The team’s impressive record has inspired many of their fans, with hopes for the future strong as ever.
