The San Antonio Silver Stars are one of the original founding teams of the WNBA, playing in every season from 1997 to the present day. Based out of the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, the Silver Stars have gone on to reach two play-offs and challenge for the Western Conference Championship in 2002.
The Silver Stars franchise has been the only franchise to change cities and name in the WNBA, moving away from Salt Lake City, Utah, following the 2002 season. With their new home and stadium, fans and players are eager for success and trophies in the seasons ahead.
