Members of the Central Division of the AFL’s American Conference, the Kats play their home games at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville Tennessee.The Kats have been through some changes since they first came onto the scene in 1997. They relocated to Atlanta in 2002 and became Georgia Force. They were then revived as an expansion team in 2005, and assumed all former team history up to the point when the original Kats relocated to Georgia.
The Force is a completely separate team and keeps records from their establishment in 2002 to the present.
The Kats made it to the ArenaBowl twice before the re-franchise in 2000 and 2001 - and their mascot is a cat called Kool Kat.
