The Baltimore Ravens were established as an expansion team in 1996 after the franchise split from its previous identity the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens have enjoyed considerable success since, making their way to the 2003 Division Championship and 2000 Conference Championships titles. The same 2000 season saw them win Super Bowl XXXV.
Based out of the M&T Bank Stadium since 1998, the Ravens are able to enjoy home games with a capacity of up to 70,000. With the stadium under construction for two years and finally completed in 1998, it has been home to all the Raven’s titles since they were established.
With only a recent team history, the Ravens have yet to have any players promoted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame or retire any numbers in honour of former contributors. Having tasted success in the past with the Super Bowl XXXV, Raven’s fans are eager to see what the coming seasons may bring.
