One of the older members of the NFL, the Chicago Bears began their playing life in 1920. Since that time, they have won eight NFL Championships and the Super Bowl XX in addition to more than sixteen Division Championships. Despite the age of the franchise, the Chicago Bears have only moved once and have been located in Chicago since 1921.
The Chicago Bears’ current stadium is the Soldier Field, found on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. With a current capacity of more than 61,000 fans, the Bears’ have remained at the stadium since 1971. Only one year did that play elsewhere; at the Memorial Stadium in 2002 while the Soldier Field was being renovated.
The Bears’ long history has seen twenty-six of their members inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and thirteen numbers retired in honour of former contributors. Both of these are the highest in the NFL. With a strong playing record and numerous awards, fans and players of the Chicago Bulls are confident of successful performances in the seasons ahead.
