The Houston Texans joined the NFL as an expansion franchise in 2002. Due to their relatively young age the Houston Texans have yet to win a Division or Conference Championships as of 2006, but fans and players are expectant that a careful planning and build-up of the team will soon yield results.
Based out of the Reliant Stadium since their establishment in 2002, the Texans are able to enjoy home capacities of up to 70,000. Their stadium was also the host of Super Bowl XXXVIII between the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers.
The Houston Texans have yet to have any players admitted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but with a number of players already showing impressive records in past seasons commentators expect such an honour to be not far away.
