The St. Louis Rams have relocated several times throughout their playing history, and were originally established as the Cleveland Rams as a 1937 NFL expansion team. The Rams moved to Los Angeles in 1946 and then to St Louis in 1995. The franchises’ achievements include fifteen Division Championships, six Conference Championships and the 1999 Super Bowl. The Rams also won two NFL Championships before the Super Bowl was introduced.
Based out of the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri, the Rams are able to enjoy facilities including a home capacity of up to 66,000 fans. The Rams are the only sporting tenant of the stadium, though it continues to play host to a variety of other events with examples including the 1999 mass held by Pope John Paul II.
The Rams’ long history has seen them collect many awards, with over thirteen of their members elevated to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They have also retired five numbers in honour of former contributors. With recent successes including Super Bowl XXXIV, both fans and players of the Rams are confident of further victories in the seasons ahead.
