Founded by the Donnelly sisters in 2004, the Minnesota RollerGirls began life with just six skaters. In a short space of time, the RollerGirls have grown to encompass 80 skaters, eight referrees and coaches, as well as legions of dedicated volunteers who lend their talents for great roller derby.
Part of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, the Minnesota RollerGirls were the first league in the US to have a professional practice area, the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in central St Paul’s.
