What started with a coffee between friends has become America's funniest show. Triple Espresso is a vaudeville-style comedy which has kept audiences rolling in the aisles for more than 10 years.
The hit show tells the story of a magician, lounge singer and mime artist who formed a partnership they thought would make them famous - but only brought humiliation on national TV. 25 years later, the trio meet in the 'Triple Espresso' coffee bar to discuss their mediocre careers, and that appearance on The Mike Douglas Show.
The result is a side-splitting blend of songs, parodies, slapstick and shadow puppets as the men try to outdo each other. Triple Espresso is constantly reworked to ensure its material stays funny and fresh. This highly-caffeinated show is the rags-to-rags story of the century, and a must-see for anybody in need of a good belly laugh.
Triple Espresso was developed in 1996 by the entertainers Bill Arnold, Michael Pearce Donley and Bob Stromberg. Following a sell-out run at Minneapolis' Cricket Theater, the show has played in cities across the USA.
